One might ask why we would even go to the time and trouble to share one of dad's most coveted secrets and the answer is simple: That is all people ever ask for! Since my father died in 1995, I have run into literally hundreds of people at weddings, broadcasting seminars, reunions, parties and other gatherings who fondly remember my dad. Well, they fondly remember his cooking! I cannot tell you how many times I have crossed paths with broadcasters, politicians, actors, fans, neighbors and friends of the family who, after expressing sorrow over his loss (and at most of the time in the same breath) ask "Did he ever tell anyone his chili recipe?"
